For this weeks photo challenge “hue” it was easy to pick out a few photos with a prominent color (or assortment of colors) that reveals more about me. What better than photos of our house that we built in 2005. Through out the house we chose bold colors. There is no a white wall to be found. In addition, we utilized hue to provide accents to the tray or coffer ceilings. The top photo shows how we used darker shades and then stepped up with a lighter hue of the same color. We carried this theme through the kitchen, dinning room and living room ceilings, but changed up the wall colors as can be seen in the second photo looking across the living room to the breakfast nook. We also were not shy in using bright bold color on the exterior with a Tuscany gold fauxed finish. Our house is currently on the market, so if anyone wants to move to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and you like bright warm colors, just let me know.
