Here are three different takes on this week’s photo challenge, “love”.

The first photo is of Psyche and Cupid,  also known as The Tale of Amour and Psyche, which is depicted in the  Antonio Canova’s statue Psyche Revived by Cupid’s Kiss. It represents the god Cupid, son of Venus, in the height of love and tenderness, immediately after awakening the lifeless Psyche with a kiss.

The second photo is the show piece at the Chaoyang museum which is a skeletal fossil of two Psittacosaurus dinosaurs who were caught in the act of mating for all eternity. Hence the name of the exhibit  “Eternal Love.”

The third photo is of a little girl in New Zealand who appears to be loving her ice cream bar.
