Sally Lightfoot Crab – Galapagos Islands

Wooden Tulips in Bloemenmarkt – Amsterdam

Orange coveralls – Dragner Fishing Village, Denmark

Wild Flowers – Canadian Rockies

Marble Eggs – Fengdu, China

Ceiling at La Coupole – Paris, France

Sculpture outside Pompidou Center – Paris, France

Parrot – Nassau, Bahamas

This is a collection of eight of my “brightest” photos from various travels around the world. The colorful Sally Lightfoot crabs really stand out against the black lava rock in the Galapagos Islands. If you are not in Holland during the right time of the year to see the real tulips in bloom, stop by the Bloemenmarkt in Amsterdam to see the brightly colored wooden tulips, and you can take a few home. But if you want to see the wild flowers in the Canadian Rockies, you will have to pick the right time of the year. The bright orange overalls of this fisherman made quite a fashion statement. The bowl of marble eggs sitting on a chair seemed strangely out-of-place, but the bright colors caught my attention. In Paris, the brightness of the ceiling in the La Coupole Restaurant is definitely an eye catcher, as were the sculptures outside the museum of modern art.
