The Thinker - Paris, France

The Thinker

“The Thinker” was the first work by Rodin to be displayed in a public place. Introduced in front of the Pantheon in 1906, this world-famous bronze statue was then moved to the Musee Rodin in 1922. As you walk around the gardens of the Musee there are many great views of Rodin’s works, but none is more impressive than that of “The Thinker” as you are looking at it from the west side. Framed by beautiful roses in the foreground, the golden dome of Les Invalides and the top of the Eiffel Tower in the background, it makes a postcard-perfect photo opportunity.
