Cruise Food – Panama Canal Cruise

If you have ever been on a cruise, then you know that food is omnipresent. When you get up in the morning, you eat. Then hang out by the pool and have a mid-morning snack. Next thing you know it’s time for lunch. After a few afternoon activities it’s tea time with, of course, more snacks. Next you head back to your cabin to get cleaned up for what else? Dinner. After dinner it is time to hit the lounge or casino to kill some time before the midnight buffet. You get the picture. The chefs and dining staff are constantly working just to keep the masses fed. But there is usually one night, usually on the longer cruises, when the chefs show off their creativity. On a two-week cruise through the Panama Canal we had one of those nights when they went all out creating some very nice food sculptures.
