Winged Victory – Louvre, Paris

The Winged Victory of Samothrace, also called the Nike of Samothrace, is a marble sculpture of the Greek goddess Nike (Victory) believed to date back to approximately 190 BC. Since 1884, it has been prominently displayed at the Louvre in Paris and is one of the best known sculptures in the world.
