Tabacon Hot Springs Resort – Costa Rica

The Tabacon Hot Springs Resort is located next to the Arenal Volcano. The thermal springs at Tabacon are heated by the volcanic activity. At the resort they have a series of various sized pools all fed by the natural hot springs. But by far the best is sitting in the stream under one of the waterfalls and getting a heated massage. If you prefer your massage from a person they have that too. It is a great place to spend an afternoon after you have spent several hours driving on the pot-hole filled gravel roads getting to Arenal.

  1. I haven’t been to Costa Rica yet. This looks great!

  2. WOW~ good work!

  3. The mountains, the volcanoes, the history, the water, and the people make Costa Rica a must see. There’s a surfing town called Tamarindo and it just might have better surfing than southern California. Worth the drive.
