The Great Wall of China

Of course any collection of wall photos must include one shot of the Great Wall of China. The top photo is a portion of the Great Wall located at the Mutianyu section. The second photo is of the city wall that surrounds the old town section of Xi’an, China which is old capital that sits at the east end of the Silk Road. Many of the cities in Europe still have some or all of their old city walls still standing. The third photo is of a portion of the wall that surrounds Rostock in northern Germany. The fourth is the city wall around the old town in Tallinn, Estonia and fifth photo is of the city wall that surrounds my favorite wall city, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany. For something totally different, the last photo is of the rock climbing wall that was on the Radiance of the Seas cruise ship which we took on our cruise around Cape Horn.
